Quest Crew Rocks Union City's 50th!!!

Quest Crew performed at the James Logan High School Stadium, in Union City, helping the city celebrate its 50th anniversary on Saturday, September 12, 2009.

The day started off with Quest participating in a VIP Meet & Greet with Union City board members, Union City 50 Volunteers,  and 'California's Band' Papa Do Run Run - who, btw - have earned two gold records and an Grammy nomination!

There was a special private performance by Boyz Night Out.  The guys send thanks to Bud Andersen, member of Boyz Night Out,  for bringing them out and producing an amazing show.

Super Questie Taylor Duke and her dad waited outside by the stadium all day just to meet the guys during tech.  The guys send this message, "Keep dancing Taylor – we’re flattered to be such an inspiration to you and your father!"

Union City's finest blue also posed with the crew for a photo op, including the lovely lady officer who was a great sport during D-Trix' familiar strip and toss-the-boxers routine! ~ you know ... the one you all wait for! Quest would like to extend a sincere thank you to the UCPD for helping make this such an awesome and safe trip.

This was also a special time for Dominic as his family from Sacramento had the opportunity to see Quest Crew perform live for the first time. He posed for a family picture, with Uncle Dominic, and a huge smile.

Union City put on an awesome fireworks display at the end of the evening that was just awe-inspiring!

To wind down the night, Quest had dinner at TGIF's with another super Questie, Melissa. The guys hope you and your mom had a great time and they thank you for the Superhero poster - which is now hanging on the wall of the Quest Learning Center!

The guys had a great time at the meet & greet, enjoyed the fireworks display, and, as Ryan says, had some on-stage hilarity after the dancing. Here are some reactions to the day from the guys' POV:
Hirano - "The crowd was amazing and I especially enjoyed it because it was so close to my home town. There were maybe about 500-700 people, but loud, and probably one of the hypest crowds we've had!"
Feng - "Amazing crowd.  Special thank you to the lady police officer. Dom just put her on blast and threw his boxers at her at the end of the show. Super funny. She played along. Super good sport."

Steve - "Union City police security were the nicest people!"

Hok - (Quote in reference to Dom's boxer stunt) "Definitely the finest police woman I've ever seen!!!"

Dominic - "Amazing crazy fans ... and my family finally got to see us perform."

Victor - "Union City was amazing! So many great fans out there and it was an honor to be there."

Quest included their latest choreography piece in their performance, too -- leave'm props below! Woot! Woot!
